Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) –http://www.pitairport.com/
Pittsburgh International Airport is located just 16 miles west of downtown Pittsburgh.  It’s a visitor friendly airport with assorted restaurants and stores for your convenience.

JETBLUE  flights from BOS to PIT-http://www.jetblue.com/
Jetblue has great prices and 3 trips to Pittsburgh from Boston everyday!  Plus they have the cool little TVs too!  We fly Jetblue everytime we travel to PIttsburgh, PA.  It comes highly reccomended!

AMTRAK-Trains from South Station, BOS to Pittsburgh, PA
Warning!!!  This is NOT  good traveling option!  It costs about the same as flying, will take over 9 hours, and is NEVER on time!  Most trains arrive and leave from Pittsburgh at 2AM/3AM.  One Thanksgiving it took me 22 hours to get from Pittsburgh to Boston- don’t let this happen to you.  Not only would you most likely miss the wedding, you’d be stuck on an Amtrak train for FOREVER!  Please just purchase a plane ticket!

Car Rentals from PIT-  http://www.pitairport.com/car_rental
We highly reccomend renting a car in the ‘burgh. Car Rentals are extremly convenient and counters are next to the baggage claim.  Public transportation is almost non-exsistent and taxis are very hard to come by.  Find some family members, fly in together and share a car- cars seat 4-6 people!

Parking in Pittsburgh- Bring Quarters!- Pittsburgh has many on street parking options and a few parking garages.  We would reccomend having a roll of quarters with you at all times when looking for parking in Pittsburgh.  Phipps has some on site parking, but most of it is on street parking meters.  Be considerate of the parking rules, don’t risk it, Pittsburgh WILL ticket you!  Trust us, we’ve been there!

Pittsburgh Public Transportation- The Subway in Pittsburgh is a laughing matter.  It will only get you 6 or so stops, none of which are near the hotels or the wedding site.  The buses aren’t much better.  Please don’t get tangled up in the imagionary public transportation system that Pittsburgh claims to have in place- make it easy on yourself  RENT A CAR!
