Dan and April have known each other for 9 years now.  There have been some ups and downs, but its been worth it!  Here are the highlights:

2002- Dan and April met while designing Equus together at Emerson College in Boston MA. Dan was the lighting designer and April the set designer; they were great collaborators!
2003- Dan and April dated for a few months in undergrad then, the inevitable, April broke up with him via the Internet.
2004- April and Dan went their separate ways.  April graduated from undergrad and soon after headed to grad school at Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh PA.  Dan continued at Emerson- one more year to go.  Both had separate relationships and they become good friends long distance.
2005- Dan graduated from Emerson and decided to go to grad school.  Where?  Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh PA.  According to Dan, April being at Carnegie Mellon did not influence his choice of where to go to grad school in anyway shape or form.  Oh- and they thought it was a good idea to move in together.  April, Dan and Deanna Frieman, a fellow CMU classmate, shared a house in Squirrel Hill.
2006- April and Dan went on an adventure to the top of the Cathedral Of Learning, trespassing surely, but that night was the moment they realized that they were amazing friends and still had feelings for each other.  It took everyone a while to believe it, even April and Dan, but they started dating again and things were great!
2007- April graduated from CMU and moved to NYC to become an Art Director for The Today Show.  They spent Dan’s last year of grad school apart; April in NYC and Dan completing his Masters Degree at CMU in PA.  It wasn’t easy, but they both knew what they had was worth it.
2008- Dan graduated from CMU and packed his car to the max!  Finally able to be together at last, the couple shared an apt in NYC!
2009- They drank iced tea, met families, went to Dubai, and enjoyed each others company as much as possible!  Dan and April adopted two fury friends, Potato and Alfredo!
Dec 31st 2009- 11:58 New Years Eve- Dan proposed to April in their living room!  He had made dinner that night, bought flowers for her and they blew bubbles in champagne together.  The proposal was a complete surprise to April, she was ecstatic, and of course, said YES!
2010- The couple has 9 months to plan the wedding! So they better get going!
